On August 26, 2022, a dozen member organizations from the Protect Students and Taxpayers sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Education to express support for expanding Pell Grant eligibility to students who are incarcerated, implementing the proposed 90/10 loophole regulation, and expanding oversight over institutional changes in ownership.
